What’s involved?

Initially, we will meet  to discuss what you are looking for from hypnotherapy, what I can offer and to get to know each other a little. You will be free to ask any questions you have about the hypnotherapy.

At our first session, I will ask you describe how you are experiencing your problem – so that you have full opportunity to describe the issue and the ways in which it is affecting you.  I will also ask you for other relevant information about the history of the issue and your current state of health.  I will then explore the ways in which you might prefer to be hypnotised. For example,  you might like visual imagery to help you relax or you might prefer to physically relax your muscles first.  Knowing this will help me choose the most effective way to help you go into trance.  The information gathered in the first session will enable me to tailor a treatment plan especially for you.

Hypnotherapy is a relaxing experience.  Here, a two-way sound system between the client and the hypnotherapist produces an intense and effective experience.

The hypnotherapy itself involves you simply sitting comfortably and listening to me as I talk to you.  You will be able to respond whenever you wish and whenever appropriate.

Of course, you will have the opportunity to discuss your experience during each session and will be asked for feedback after each session.  These are important parts of the process.

Most importantly, you are in control throughout and it will be you who achieves the results.
