You have complete control when hypnotised. You are aware of what is going on and
can hear everything said to you. You have control over what you say and you will
be able to remember the session once finished. You will never feel compelled to
do anything that you are not comfortable with.
Hypnosis is a state of mental (and usually physical) relaxation in which you can
hear everything that is said to you and in which you have complete control over what
you say and do throughout.
It is a naturally-occurring state that we experience whenever we day-dream, lose
ourselves in thought or operate on ‘autopilot’.
What is hypnosis?
Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy which uses the state of hypnosis to enable you
to make changes that you want to make but are finding difficult.
Hypnotherapy can also help you manage and/or overcome both psychological and physical
problems such as IBS, chronic pain, anxiety, negative thoughts and phobias.
Hypnotherapy is a gentle form of therapy in which you have complete control. Changes
are made at the rate which is appropriate to you and in the form that the you want
them to take. My role as a therapist is to identify and use the methods best suited
to you to enable you to be successful in making the changes you want.
What is hypnotherapy?
“…hypnosis is not mind control. It's a naturally occurring state of concentration;
It's actually a means of enhancing your control over both your mind and your body.”
