Professional membership
I hold full professional insurance.
I am a member of the Hypnotherapy Association (HA) which holds one of the largest registers of independent Hypnotherapists in the United Kingdom and strives to maintain the highest standards among its members. I abide by the HA’s code of ethics.
I am a member of the International Stress Management Association (ISMA) which exists to promote sound knowledge and best practice in the prevention and reduction of human stress and which sets professional standards for the benefit of individuals and organisations using the services of its members.
I am registered with the UK Confederation of Hypnotherapy organisations (UKCHO) which holds the only national register of hypnotherapists. The National Register contains the names and registration numbers of all those hypnotherapy practitioners who have followed, and successfully completed, a high quality course in hypnotherapy to national occupational standards, and is bound by a professional code of conduct, ethics and practice. My UKCHO registration number is 82738.
The CNHC is the UK regulator for complementary healthcare practitioners, including hypnotherapists. Its key function is to set standards for therapists and only allow registration of those that meet those standards. Consequently, the CNHC ‘quality mark', which can only be used by those registered with the CNHC, is now being recognised as the hallmark of quality for therapists. This means that you are able to choose your therapist with confidence by looking for the CNHC quality mark (as shown above) . The Department of Health recommends that you consult with someone who is CNHC registered. you can check for registration at www.cnhcregister.org.uk and you can view my registration certificate by clicking here.
I am a member of the Association for NLP (ANLP) which exists to represent an impartial and independent voice for NLP. Its aim is to maintain standards and encourage best practice amongst NLP Professionals and inform the public about the benefits and applications of NLP.
