Some simple issues can be overcome completely in one session - hypnotherapy can be
extremely effective.
Clients usually notice an improvement in their condition after their first hypnotherapy
session and most choose to build on this over a series of sessions at weekly or fortnightly
intervals.
The total number of sessions needed will depend on the problem being tackled and
the individual. There are no hard-and-fast rules but generally phobias can be dealt
with in 1-3 sessions, whereas deeper issues such as anxiety and weight management
usually take longer.
At each session, you will be able to tell me about your progress and experiences
since we last met and this will determine the next steps.
There is, of course, a considerable variation in the difficulty of the different
issues that people seek help with. Therefore there is no general rule about exactly
how much improvement can be achieved and how long the process will take.
As a member of the National Council of Hypnotherapy I am committed to helping you
as quickly and effectively as possible.
“… hypnosis often is used to modify behaviour and overcome phobias and bad habits
-- it can help you make changes that you've been unable to make otherwise.”
